Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of recruitment methods on organizational performance in Tawi Fresh Kenya Limited. The study applied a descriptive research design to provide conclusive answers to the research questions. The population of the study was 60 employees at Tawi Fresh Kenya Limited. The sample size was 60 employees of Tawi Fresh Kenya Limited, and the study used a census as the sampling technique. All the employees were included in this study. The study made use of a structured questionnaire to collect primary data. Data analysis methods that were applied in this study included descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was reported in frequencies, percentages, mean, and standard deviation to describe the main characteristics of the dataset by identifying patterns and trends within the data. For inferential analysis, correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to show the nature and magnitude of relationships established between the independent and dependent variables. The study revealed that advertising, internship program, employee referral, and employee outsourcing positively and statistically significantly relate to organizational performance at Tawi Fresh Kenya Limited. The research made a conclusion that recruitment methods, advertising, internship programs, employee referrals, and employee outsourcing have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. The study recommended that organizations should use the different methods of recruitment interchangeably, and also in accordance with the needed skills and also considering the cost involved in using each of the recruitment methods. The human resource personnel should consider assessing the needed skills in their organization in order to determine the best method to adopt for the specific task.
