The study sought to assess the effect of the human resource information system on organizational performance: a case of Equality Now. The objectives of the study included: to establish the effect of e-recruitment on organizational performance, the effect of e-payroll on organizational performance, the effect of e-leave management on organizational performance, and the effect of e-training on organizational performance. The study employed the descriptive research design with the use of questionnaires for data collection. The target population consisted of 45 employees of Equality Now. The study will adopt the census technique. The study used both descriptive and inferential statistics. A multiple linear regression model was also used. The findings indicated an R-squared of 0.646, implying that jointly, e-recruitment, e-payroll management, e-leave management, and e-training can explain 65 percent of changes in organizational performance. The study established that e-recruitment, e-payroll, e-leave management, and e-training had a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. The study concluded that human resource information systems contribute significantly to the organizational performance of Equality Now. The study recommended that management of Equality Now should improve the hiring decisions, post advertisements on the company website and other online apps, and track applications. It should also focus on collating data to input into the system, statutory and voluntary deductions reports, and the provision of real-time information. The management should further enhance checking leave approvals, track employees’ annual leave utilization, and collecting data on hours worked for payroll compilation. Finally, it should promote professional training, seminars and workshops, and mentoring and coaching. Future studies should consider expanding the scope to include other organizations in the same sector.
